This is the hard part...

Well, now that my office is officially closed, it's time to start fundraising. This is the part about being a missionary that makes me cringe. Cold showers, no electricity, no news of the outside world- this sounds like a lot of our vacations! Raising money?! That sounds like torture to me. But, if it means getting to help in Africa... here we go:

Since it took a cumulative of 19 years of college for David and I to get to the point of MD, MPH and ND, CPM, we have quite a few school loans to continue to make payments on.  David’s travel and language school are paid for by Samaritan’s Purse, but my travel and the kids’ are on our own. Also, the expense for me to go to language school and for childcare while I’m there is on us. We do have housing and a food stipend provided by the program while we are in France and Africa. Our estimate of financial need for 2020 is $31,700 if I go to language school.

We have been so blessed by all the love and prayers throughout this journey and are humbled to be asking for more help. If you would like to contribute, gifts can be one-time or recur monthly. All gifts are tax-deductible and go through Samaritan’s purse. Just go to samaritanspurse.org/wmmgiving to give online or make a check to Samaritan's Purse, Attn: Post Residency Program, PO Box 3000, Boone ND 28607. Please include our project account number 006102.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
